North East Community Foundation establishes fund to help the 4 N.I.N.E. Thrift Store

As everyone in the North East community now knows, a fire in North East this week left the 4 N.I.N.E. Thrift Store in rubbish. A fire broke out at the loading dock near the rear of the building and was fueled by clothing donations. North East firefighters and six other area fire companies spent over an hour and a half to extinguish the flame. Thankfully no one was injured during the fire, but the fire left the retail part of the building with large amounts of smoke and water damage. Rebuilding the store is left in the hands of the North East Community.

To help 4 N.I.N.E. Thrift Store rebuild, The North East Community Foundation set up a fund to help rebuild the 4 N.I.N.E. Thrift Store. GE Transportation also donated $20,000 to help them rebuild. You can make a difference too!

Ironically, tonight is the 4 N.I.N.E. Thrift Store's mortgage burning party at Gravel Pit Park beginning at 5 p.m. through 8 p.m. Over 1,600 friends and family of 4 N.I.N.E. plan on attending.
